About Your Doctor
Jona Bandyopadhyay, MD
Providing a lifetime of care
“No other specialty offers the continuity of care that you find as an OB/GYN. I can take care of a woman from her teenage years through the birth of her children and beyond, until her children have children. In addition to being a physician and surgeon, at times I find myself in the role of psychiatrist, social worker, or maybe, most important, friend. These are the main reasons I became an OB/GYN.”
Residency: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL
Graduate: Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA
Bachelor of Science: Biomedical Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD
A full-body approach to keeping you healthy
“Whenever possible, I try to incorporate a holistic approach to medicine where the physical, mental and emotional elements of a person are interconnected. In doing so, I hope to treat both mind and body and provide a total approach to women’s health.”
